Time is flying by! I can't believe Markin is already 2 weeks old - but it also seems like she's been here forever. After we left the hospital, we stayed with my parents for a week, but we've been home for several days now and things are still going well. We've settled into a nice routine of diapering, eating, and sleeping (mostly sleeping). She's trying to sleep through the night already, but her pesky mommy keeps waking her up every 3 hours to feed her :)
We spent the day at my sister's house, celebrating some belated birthdays (my sister's on the 3rd and my dad's on the 4th). Markin was a great traveler and slept the whole way. Her cousin, Naliya, was excited to see another baby and kept poking her and trying to lay down on top of her. It was so cute!

ReplyDeleteThanks, Sarah. I had hair just like that when I was born - but mine stuck straight up! It didn't turn curly until I was closer to a year old (same as Naliya - her hair was straight but she's starting to get some nice curls, so thinking Markin will end up with curly hair - and hate me for it :) But I'll be thrilled!
